Analisis Penerapan Good Nazir Governance (GNG) Index Pada Lembaga Wakaf
"Background -- This research is based on the author's observations of the huge
potential of waqf in Indonesia, but most of its governance is still relatively low. The
GNG Index is considered a relatively new waqf performance assessment
instrument. Based on the literature review, research on the implementation of Good
Nazir Governance in several waqf institutions is still limited. Most of the current
research only focuses on case studies in certain waqf institutions, and no one has
used the GNG Index as a tool for assessing waqf management performance.
Objective -- This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Good Nazir
Governance (GNG) Index in Waqf Institutions.
Research Methods -- This research applies a mixed methods approach by
combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The sample was selected
purposively, and data was collected through the use of a questionnaire.
Findings -- Based on the results of the Good Nazir Governance (GNG) Index
survey of 20 waqf institutions, only 45 percent were in the ""compliant"" category
with a value ranging from 0.76 to 1.00. This shows that Nazir respondents have not
fully implemented the GNG Index"
