Integrasi Keuangan Syariah: Dimensi Integrasi Operasional Bisnis Mahasiswa Indonesia Di Universitas Al Azhar Kairo
"Goal : This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the intention of Indonesian
students at Al-Azhar University, Cairo, in implementing operational integration of
Islamic social and commercial finance within their business activities. Islamic
finance, as a holistic system, encompasses both social aspects (zakat, infaq, waqf,
and Islamic microfinance) and commercial aspects. However, integrating these two
components—particularly at the operational level—remains a challenge. This
research examines the influence of five key variables: religiosity, knowledge,
attitude, functional factors, and trust on the intention to integrate Islamic finance
operationally.
Methode : A quantitative approach was employed using the Partial Least Squares
- Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The sample consisted of 91
Indonesian students at Al-Azhar University who run their own businesses. The
findings reveal that four variables—attitude, religiosity, knowledge, and trust—
have a significant positive influence on the intention to integrate Islamic finance,
while the functional factor does not show a significant effect.
Fact/Finding : This study contributes theoretically by expanding the application
of the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) within the context of Islamic finance and
offers practical implications for enhancing student engagement in Islamic financial
integration. The results may also serve as a foundation for developing policies to
strengthen the role of Islamic financial institutions in promoting sustainable socialcommercial integration"
