"This study aims to identify and explain the payment of wages to
construction workers at Pondok Pesantren KH. Abdul Qadir
Qasim Karajaang, Selayar Islands. It also aims to examine and
explain the analysis of Islamic law regarding the payment of wages
to construction workers at Pondok Pesantren KH. Abdul Qadir
Qasim Karajaang, Selayar Islands.
: The method used in this research is qualitative research, which
is applied to systematically describe what occurs in the field. The
data collection techniques used include observation, interviews,
and documentation, while the data analysis employed is inductive
analysis. The research location is at Pondok Pesantren KH. Abdul
Qadir Qasim Karajaang, Selayar Islands.
: The findings indicate that in Polebunging village, specifically at
Pondok Pesantren KH. Abdul Qadir Qasim Karajaang, Selayar
Islands, there is indeed inequality in the daily wage system
between daily laborers and workers hired by contractors. The
standard wages given to daily laborers are very low despite their
work being more difficult compared to the contract workers.
Furthermore, in some cases, daily laborers are not paid on time,
with wages often being given more than a week after
