Analisis Penerapan Akad Rahn Menurut Madzhab Syafi'i Studi Kasus Di PT. Pegadaian Syariah Cabang Veteran Selatan Kota Makassar

"This study aims to determine the practice of rahn contracts
implemented at PT Pegadaian Syariah Veteran Selatan
Branch, Makassar City and analyze the suitability of the
implementation of rahn with sharia principles in the Syafi’i
school of thought at PT Pegadaian Syariah Veteran Selatan
Branch, Makassar City. The focus of this study lies in the
suitability of the practice of rahn contracts in sharia
financial institutions with the provisions of muamalah fiqh
according to the Syafi’i school of thought, especially
regarding the pillars, conditions, and legal consequences of
rahn.
: This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study
method, using in-depth interviews, direct observation, and
documentation analysis. The analysis was conducted
descriptively and analytically, comparing field practices
with the legal provisions of rahn in the books of the Madzhab
Syafi’i.
Research results : Shows that the practice of rahn contracts at PT Pegadaian
Syariah Veteran Selatan Branch, Makassar City has been
carried out systematically and according to procedures,
starting from the delivery of goods to settlement or auction.
The contract is carried out with verbal ijab qabul, and the
ujrah fee is determined transparently. In general, the
implementation is in accordance with sharia principles
according to the Madzhab Syafi’i of thought, especially in
fulfilling the pillars and valid conditions of the contract.
Implications
: The results of this study are expected to provide theoretical
contributions to the development of Islamic economic law
and become a practical reference for optimizing the
implementation of rahn contracts in accordance with the
maqashid of sharia, especially in the aspects of
transparency, justice, and compliance with sharia principles."
