"Based on data from the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia,
Muslims constitute the majority population, reaching 229.62 million, while the
Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) reported 221,563,479
internet users in 2024. Arabic holds a unique position as the language of the Qur’an;
however, many who have memorized it do not understand its meaning. This condition
led to the creation of Metodequran.id, an online Arabic learning platform to
understand the Qur’an.This study focuses on customer segments and value
propositions, using a qualitative approach with problem and solution testing through
interviews with 25 respondents. The findings produced a new business model with
customer segments categorized by economic level (middle to upper class), age (15–60
years), profession (students, workers, pupils), and behavior (interest in learning Arabic
for Qur’anic understanding). The value propositions include gender-matched
professional instructors, e-certificates, hybrid learning methods, and flexible
schedules."
