"This study aims to determine the influence of the location
of the Islamic boarding school, education costs, and
service quality on the decision of students to choose the
Persatuan Islam 45 Rahayu Islamic Boarding School,
both partially and simultaneously.
This study used a quantitative approach with a survey
method. The study population was all 264 students at the
Mu'allimin level at the Persatuan Islam 45 Rahayu
Islamic Boarding School. The study sample consisted of
133 respondents selected using the Slovin formula with a
simple random sampling technique. Data collection was
conducted using a Likert-based questionnaire instrument
that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data
analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of
the latest version of SPSS software.
The results of the study indicate that partially the location
of the Islamic boarding school variable does not
significantly influence the students' decisions. In
contrast, the variables of education costs and service
quality significantly influence the decision to choose an
Islamic boarding school. Simultaneously, the three
variables significantly influence the students' decisions
with a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 29.4%,
which means that 29.4% of the variation in the decision
to choose an Islamic boarding school can be explained
by these three variables, while the remaining 70.6% is
influenced by other factors outside this study.
