Spending Habit: Its Effect On Decision To Do Saving On Islamic Bank
"Purpose : This study aims to find out the effect of income, lifestyle,
and spending habits on the decision to do saving in Islamic
bank.
Methodology : The methodology used for this study is the SEM-PLS
method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 for the data
analysis. As this was a quantitative research, a questionnaire
was used in the form of Google Form, and spread through
social media (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). A
total of 152 Gen Z respondents have been collected from
the Jabodetabek area.
Result : The result showed that income (X1) could positively
affect choice in Islamic banks (Y) through spending habit
(Z), but could not have a direct significant effect on the Y
variable. Lifestyle (X2) could positively and significantly
affect choice in Islamic banks (Y), either directly or through
spending habits. Meanwhile, Spending habits (Z) could
significantly affect choice in Islamic banks (Y)"
