The Influence Of Economic Factors On The Performance Of The Jakarta Islamic Indeks (JII) With Var/Vecm Approach
: To Analyze the short-term and long-term relationships between the Dow Jones Islamic Market Index (DJIM), world gold prices, IDR/USD exchange rates, world oil prices, Bitcoin, and benchmark interest rates on the performance of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), Evaluate the performance response of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and knowing the relative contribution of each independent variable in 2019-2023. : This research employs a quantitative approach with a Var/Vecm method. The total of population of this study are 60. The data of every variable in this research use monthly data. Data was collected from Investing.com and Bank Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using Eviews 12. Result/Findings : The results indicate that, in the long run, Bitcoin, the rupiah exchange rate, oil prices, and gold prices have a significant positive effect on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), while the BI Rate and the Dow Jones Islamic Market Index (DJIM) have a significant negative effect. In the short run, only JII at lag 4, Bitcoin at lag 2, and oil prices at lag 1 show a significant positive impact.
