Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Ayam Ras Petelur Cicurug Omega EGG Farm di Sukabumi
Cicurug Omega Egg Farm is a chicken egg farm aimed at meeting the Indonesian people's need for quality animal protein. The reason for establishing this business was the community's unbalanced nutritional status and the limited supply of quality food at affordable prices. This business was initiated to provide fresh, hygienic, and highly nutritious chicken eggs directly from the farm to consumers. In addition to household consumption, the products are also intended for culinary businesses such as MSMEs, restaurants, and retailers, to expand economic value and support local community empowerment. : The development of the Cicurug Omega Egg Farm business model was carried out using the Business Model Canvas approach with a focus on two main elements: Customer Segment and Value Proposition. This study used an action research method through two testing stages: problem testing and solution testing with 30 respondents. Respondents consisted of end consumers, retailers, culinary MSME owners, and chicken egg distributors in the Sukabumi area and its surroundings. : The validation results show that the potential customer segmentation is in the 20–60 years age range with the primary need for fresh, hygienic, and economical chicken eggs. The main value proposition produced is fresh chicken eggs from local farms that are free of additional chemicals and packaged hygienically and environmentally friendly. Through the problem testing and solution testing stages, an updated business model design was obtained in the Customer Segment and Value Proposition aspects, which became the basis for Cicurug Omega Egg Farm's long-term development strategy in creating a sustainable agribusiness ecosystem and strengthening regional food security.
