Preferansi Zakat dan Filantropsi Islam di Era Digital
"This research investigates the preferences of Muslim communities regarding the
distribution of zakat and other Islamic philanthropies (infaq, sadaqah, waqf) in the digital era.
With the rapid development of technology and massive digital adoption, digital platforms have
become increasingly popular alternative channels for fulfilling these religious obligations and
recommendations. This study employs a quantitative survey method by distributing
questionnaires to Muslim respondents from various demographic backgrounds. Initial findings
indicate that ease of access, time efficiency, transparency, and adequate information regarding
the impact of distribution are key driving factors for the preference towards digital platforms.
However, a small portion of respondents still opt for conventional methods due to factors of
trust and habit. The implications of this research are expected to provide guidance for zakat and
Islamic philanthropic institutions in developing more effective digital strategies to reach donors
and enhance the collection of Islamic social fund. "
