"Objectives : This study uses a quantitative approach. The data
collection technique used in this study is purposive
sampling, which was tasted in 38 provinces in Indonesia
in the the years 2017-2024. The analysis thecnique used in
this study is panel data regression analysis using Eviews
12 software
Methods : This thesis aims to analyze whether the increase in VAT
rates and inflation affect household consumption in
Indonesia from 2017 to 2024.
Result/findings : This result of this study indicate that increase in VAT
rates and inflation do not have a positive effect household
on household consumption in Indonesia"
