Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Financial Distress Pada Perusahaan Tekstil dan Garmen yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2020-2023

"Objectives : This study aims to analyze the factors that influence
Financial distress in textile and garment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock
Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2023 period. The dependent variable in this
research is Financial distress, while the independent variables include liquidity
represented by the Current Ratio, Leverage represented by the Debt to Asset Ratio,
CEO Duality, Institutional Ownership, the Rupiah Exchange Rate, and World Oil
Prices.
Methods : This study uses a quantitative approach. The data analysis
technique used is panel data regression, and the data is processed using EViews 12
software. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, consisting of 21
textile and garment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during
the 2020–2023 period.
Results/findings : The results show that the Debt to Asset Ratio has a positive
and significant effect on Financial distress. In addition, CEO Duality has a negative
and significant effect on Financial distress. Other variables, such as the Current
Ratio, Institutional Ownership, the Rupiah Exchange Rate, and World Oil Prices,
do not have a significant effect on Financial distress"
