Pemetaan Tren Riset Ekonomi Haji dan Umroh: Studi Bibliometrik Publikasi Ilmiah
Objective: This thesis aims to map the scientific research trends related to the economics of Hajj and Umrah over the past five to ten years. Using a bibliometric approach, the study identifies publication patterns, dominant topics, author collaborations, and the development of research themes in the field of Hajj and Umrah economics. Methodology: The research employs a quantitative approach using bibliometric analysis. Data were collected from international scientific publication databases and analyzed using VOSviewer software to visualize keyword co-occurrence, author networks, institutional collaboration, and emerging research trends. Results/Findings: This study identified 198 publications related to the economics of Hajj and Umrah between 1951 and 2025. The trend analysis reveals a significant increase in publications after 2015, reaching its peak in 2021. The dominant keywords include “Hajj management,” “pilgrimage tourism,” and “Saudi Vision 2030,” reflecting the primary research focus. Collaboration networks highlight Saudi Arabia and Indonesia as major contributors, while most studies were published in journals specializing in Islamic economics, religious tourism, and public policy. These findings emphasize that research on the economics of Hajj and Umrah has been growing steadily, both in terms of thematic focus and international collaboration.
