Rencana Bisnis Budidaya Pepaya California BuCu Farm dengan Analisis Bisnis Model Kanvas
"The agricultural sector is one of the important sectors that supports food
security and the economy in Indonesia. Papaya is one of the 10 fruit commodities
with the largest production volume in Indonesia. California papaya is one of the
many papaya varieties available in the market. This variety is known for its sweet
taste, medium size, soft texture, relatively short cultivation and harvesting period,
and promising economic value. The papaya cultivation business has significant
development potential in Kampar Regency, particularly in the Bangkinang City
area, based on market demand and scarcity due to production fluctuations. Another
finding is that there is still a lack of public knowledge about the California papaya
variety and no structured business strategy for its development.
This study aims to: 1) Determine the customer segment for the California
BuCu Farm papaya cultivation business; and 2) Propose a value proposition that
aligns with market needs. The research method used in this study is qualitative with
an Action Research model. Data analysis is conducted through the following stages:
extraction of the initial business model, problem testing, business model update,
solution testing, and business model verification.
The research results indicate that BuCu Farm's customer segment consists
of end consumers such as mothers or heads of households and fresh fruit
enthusiasts, as well as local fruit vendors in Bangkinang Kota, aged 20–45 years
old with an average monthly income of three to five million rupiah. The value
proposition includes: 1) Fresh and high-quality California papayas; 2) Available
in various sizes according to demand; 3) Affordable prices; 4) Attractive and
informative packaging; and 5) Delivery order services and product benefit
education. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for developing BuCu
Farm's competitive and sustainable business strategies. "
