Pengaruh Pendapatan Non-Halal dan Utang Berbasis Bunga terhadap Nilai Emiten Syariah pada Sektor Energi
Goal: This study examines the influence of non-halal income and interest-based
debt on the value of sharia-compliant issuers within the energy sector.
Method: This research uses a panel data approach from 2018 to 2022, and
analyzing 15 energy companies with annual data, the research aims to uncover
the effects of these financial variables on the Price to Book Value (PBV) ratio.
Fact/Finding: The findings reveal that non-halal income (PNH) does not
significantly impact PBV, with a significance value of 0.4684, indicating that
PNH does not contribute meaningfully to determining company value. Interestbased debt (UBB) significantly affects PBV at the 10% level, though its impact is
negative, implying that higher UBB corresponds to lower PBV. Additionally, the
interaction between non-halal income and interest-based debt significantly affects
PBV. The negative impact suggests that a high combination of PNH and UBB can
reduce company value. On the other hand, Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on
Equity (ROE) show significant positive effects on PBV. This indicates that higher
ROA and ROE are associated with higher PBV. Earnings Per Share (EPS) also
has a significant positive impact on PBV, suggesting that increased EPS leads to
higher PBV.
