Tinjauan sistem bagi hasil pada perjanjian kerja laut bagi awak kapal perikanan menurut hukum ekonomi syariah pada pelabuhan perikanan nusantara kejawanan, cirebon
Indonesia, as an archipelagic nation with over 17,500 islands, has significant
potential in the fisheries sector. With approximately 900,000 fishermen and a projected
need for more than 1.5 million human resources, this sector offers substantial economic
opportunities for coastal communities. This study discusses the Maritime Labor
Agreement (MLA) and the application of the mudharabah principle within the context of
Islamic economic law at the Nusantara Kejawanan Fishery Port in Cirebon. Using a
qualitative descriptive analytic method, interviews were conducted with ship owners,
crew members, and relevant authorities. Findings indicate that the MLA must include
clear rights and obligations, alongside protections for safety and health at work. The
implementation of a profit-sharing scheme (mudharabah) is expected to enhance the
welfare and equity of crew members, ensuring fair and transparent profit distribution in
accordance with sharia principles
