Determinants of Indonesian Diaspora's Donation Intention Through Crowdfunding Platform
Objective : This study aims to determine the factors that influence the
intention of the Indonesian diaspora to donate using a
crowdfunding platform. This study uses five variables:
attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control,
personal norm, and religiosity.
Method : Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLSSEM) approach was used to test the measurement model
(outer model) and structural model (inner model). The
measurement model's two evaluation stages aim to assess a
mode's validity and reliability. Online questionnaires were
distributed to purposively selected respondents in the
United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. The respondents are
100 Indonesian diasporas who have an interest in donating
online.
Results/Findings : This study found that attitude, subjective norm, perceived
behavioral control, and personal norm significantly
influence online donation intention through crowdfunding
platforms. Meanwhile, the variable of religiosity was not
proven to have a significant effect
